Amber Animator

A Parent's Guide to Child Safety & Privacy (Plain English)
100% Kid & Family Safe
No Subscriptions • No Ads

Our Promise to Parents & Carers

Amber Animator was created by an educator with one clear goal: to give children a pure, imaginative animation studio without predatory advertising, hidden trackers, or monthly subscriptions.

Zero Advertisements

Your child will never see pop-up ads, commercial videos, or toy sponsorships. Their creative focus is 100% protected and uninterrupted.

No Accounts or Passwords

We never ask for your child's name, email, birthdate, or location. Just open the app and start making cartoons immediately.

Everything Stays on Device

All photos, voice recordings, and movie projects stay inside the iPad. We do not store media on cloud servers or share anything online.

Multiplication Parental Gate

Purchases and external settings are guarded by a math challenge (e.g. 7 × 8 = ?), ensuring young children cannot make accidental taps.

100% Works in Airplane Mode

Perfect for car journeys, flights, and restaurants. No internet connection is ever required to animate, record audio, or export movies.

Apple Family Sharing Ready

One single Pro unlock covers up to 5 family devices across your Apple Family Sharing group with no recurring monthly fees.

Questions Parents Frequently Ask

Does the app track my child across other apps?

No. Amber Animator has zero tracking identifiers (IDFA/Device ID) and strictly complies with Apple's Made for Kids App Store guidelines.

Does upgrading to Pro turn on any tracking?

No. Upgrading simply unlocks extra creative tools (like 4K export and sound library) entirely on your device. Zero data is sent to developer servers.

Can my child accidentally share videos online?

No. Amber Animator has no social feed or public upload button. Exported videos go straight to your device's Camera Roll.

Why does the app ask for Camera & Mic permissions?

Camera is used solely to capture animation frames in the viewfinder, and Microphone is only used if your child records voiceovers for their characters.
